Refugee Jobseeker's Project

Talented and highly employable Refugee Jobseeker's are rarely given the support required to bring them closer to education training and employment opportunities. The situation is now widely recognised by local Jobcentres and other organisations supporting Refugee's as unjustifiable and urgent action required.

NERS has secured funding to design and deliver a pilot training programme for Refugee Jobseeker's who wish to explore their career aspirations, and establish realistic steps to achieveing them.

Volunteer Opportunity at NERS!

We currently have an exciting volunteering opportunity with the Supported Housing Project in Newcastle, which provides accommodation whilst giving intensive support to help people move on with their lives and achieve their potential.

We are looking for passionate individuals with good English and basic computer skills who can ideally speak either Arabic or Farsi. You do not need any previous experience, just passion to help others and be willingto learn! We provide the relevant training.
