The North of England Refugee Service is an independent and charitable organisation which exists to meet the needs and represent the interests of asylum seekers and refugees who have arrived or have settled in the North of England.
The heart of our work is: too accompany and support refugees on their journey, from arrival to establishment in their new community and to be an authoritative voice on issues affective the refugee community in the region.
Our interpreting service is looking for freelance Romanian interpreters with a level 3 qualification in community interpreting! If interested or if you are qualified in any other languages please contact Senada at sb@refugee.org.uk or call 0191 2457303.
We are looking for people to volunteer in our ESOL classes on Thursdays 2.30pm - 4.30pm. You need to be willing to help students with their English and assist the tutors.
