Celebrating refugee heritage and culture
Visitors can explore a new display of Syrian and Near-Eastern objects, including jewellery, ceramics, and glassware. These objects have been interpreted by the local Syrian refugee community, and the display celebrates their unique viewpoints. Visitors can also see a Hmong storycloth made using the traditional techniques of the Hmong people, who were displaced from their homes during the Vietnam War.
